Do you know why we celebrate Valentine's day on February 14th?
I learned years ago from the Church of Light that we celebrate Valentine's Day when the Sun is in the repression decanate of the sign Aquarius. Each sign of the zodiac is divided in many ways. One of those ways is the division into three decanates each of ten degrees.
The repression decanate of Aquarius is depicted by the Whale Monster Cetus.
Andromeda was rescued from the whale monster by Prince Charming, Perseus. He set her free and gained her hand in marriage.
The word 'Valentine' is a reference to the Norman word (see my post on Normandy...) 'galantin' which translates as 'lover'. Galantin is the marriage decanate of the relationship sign Libra. Valentine's day celebrates rescue from the Whale Monster by a loving proposal of marriage because partnership is meant to slay the monster of repression and loneliness. BUT, read on...
As you can imagine, I get a lot of questions from clients about relationships and love prospects. I handle these questions based upon the individual client and their charts combined with what my guide 'Arthur' shares with me. People ask about their 'other half'. In fact, clients sometimes use that very term, saying "when will I meet my other half". At that point, I deliver my short sermon about how we should not be living life feeling that we are only half of a whole. I often say "what, are you like half an orange just lying on the floor?" I also remind clients that when we feel or think that way, we will magnetize a partner that is also broken. At that point, two broken halves unite as one big broken Orange...
The reference to another half is actually a spiritual concept. A spark of divinity (you) separates from the Godhead to journey, experience, and expand. When that spark of divinity descends through the planes of existence, it becomes polarized and separates into two halves. When we become sufficiently evolved spiritually to ascend much closer to the Godhead, the two halves reunite.
We are not searching for someone else. We are meant to be discovering, purifying, and mastering ourselves in service to deity...
And here's the cool thing where relationships are concerned. There is a point in your natal chart called 'the Ascendant'. The Ascendant is the beginning of the first house (the house of self). Opposite the Ascendant is the Descendant which demarcates the beginning of the seventh house of relationships. That is why we say "opposites attract"...
As you focus upon and improve yourself, you will automatically magnetize better people into your life... You have to - this is how nature works. This is one of many concepts that I teach in my new workshop "How to Get What You Want". It's all about manifestation and the law of attraction. I prefer the term 'creation'.
This is the tagline that my guides provided for my new workshop:
"Life does not give you what you want.
Life gives you what you need.
If you don't like what you are getting, you must change what you need.
The only way to change what you need is to change what you are."
If you would like to attend the next 2 day workshop "How to Get What You Want", please send me an email.
We each have everything that we need...
Happy Valentine's day!
Let's handle our own monsters...
